Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at the Francisco Grande Hotel was truly delightful. The rooms were spacious and clean, offering stunning views of the desert landscape. The dining at Duke's was a standout experience, with delicious food and attentive service. Although the hotel is rich in historical charm and ambiance, there are minor upkeep issues that could be addressed. Overall, it was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy while traveling.
The golf resort had a decent atmosphere with clean bathrooms and enough space for clubs, but it was a bit run-down for my expectations given its name. The service was friendly, and the greens were somewhat acceptable, yet poorly maintained. While I appreciated the mowed fairways, the overall condition of the course left much to be desired, making it hard to justify the experience.
My stay at Francisco Grande Hotel & Golf Resort was mostly pleasant. The location is convenient between Phoenix and Tucson, making it a good stop for road travelers. I found the rooms to be spacious and clean, and the staff was cheerful and helpful. Dining at Duke's was a highlight, offering a solid menu. However, I did notice some maintenance issues in the common areas that might need addressing to enhance the overall experience.
Our stay at the hotel had some really nice highlights like the beautiful grounds and the clean, spacious rooms, but the breakfast experience left a lot to be desired. While the service was friendly overall, we had issues during the breakfast rush that dampened our experience. The hotel’s historical charm and attention to detail made it a unique place, but certain aspects could definitely use some improvement.
I had a pleasant stay overall, especially given the great historical ambiance that takes you back in time. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, which added to the enjoyment. The only downside was the dated facilities, particularly the TV placement and the overall appearance that could use some modernization. Still, the spaciousness of the suite and a lovely hot tub made it worth the value for money.
